Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 2026.
These terms govern your use of IndieMakerCrew (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The Service
IndieMakerCrew lets signed-in users post one daily update about what they're building, and lets anyone browse, upvote, and comment on those updates. The Service is provided as-is and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. One person, one account — don't create multiple accounts to get around the one-post-a-day limit.
3. Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you grant IndieMakerCrew a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store that content as part of running the Service. Posts, comments, your display name, and avatar are public and visible to anyone, signed in or not.
4. Acceptable use
Follow the Community Rules — they're part of these terms. In short: post real progress, don't spam or manipulate votes, and don't post anything illegal, hateful, or abusive.
5. Moderation and termination
We can remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Community Rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used — things like which pages get visited and roughly how much traffic the Service gets. This sets cookies in your browser. We don't use it to build ad profiles or sell your data. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the Service.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IndieMakerCrew is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
